Innovation Initiative (Up to $1 million)
Alliance Healthcare Foundation (AHF) seeks innovative solutions that significantly and positively impact health and wellness issues through systems change.
AHF developed the Innovation Initiative (i2) to support transformational thinking and action to improve systems related to health and wellness. AHF is interested in innovative solutions that address healthcare access issues, that reach our target populations (the poor, uninsured and underinsured, children and the homeless), and that use innovation effectively and in ways that reduce costs, increase capacity, or improve quality.
The 2017 i2 application cycle will launch Spring 2017 with the iEngageU Funding Innovation Forum. Applications will be opened and accepted, then Finalists will be selected in May/June. AHF will host our PitchFest in mid-July where the i2 awardee will be selected.
The Innovation Initiative is one of AHF’s three funding programs. In 2015, AHF awarded $3,309,431 through the Mission Support Grants, the Innovation Initiative, and Responsive Grants, an increase from 2014’s $2,989,899 and 2013’s $2,330,396.
Online applications for the Innovation Initiative are preferred. Paper applications can be made available in the event of restricted Internet/computer access.
